one of a kind necklaces from Space Cat

We just love these very special, very unique necklaces from Space Cat. They are one of kind, made with a combination of vintage pieces, crystal, and mixed media. And, of course, they are lovingly created by hand. Just amazing!

chained

We've been seeing a lot of metal work in fashion magazines lately, and Electric Lollipop now has a really great summer necklace for only $25! It's made of very lightweight chain and features three strands. They're super fun and really make a statement.

Polka Dot skirt from Momiji!

We love this red and white polka dot skirt from Momiji. It's super, duper cute and has a great flounce. We paired it with one of Norma W.'s adorable sweaters and heels for a fun going out look, and you could dress it down with a simple tank and sandals; perfect for a walk through Trinity Bellwoods!

Welcome Norma W!

You just HAVE to check out these sweaters. They are super-duper-duper adorable. Each up-cycled vintage sweater features an adorable little character and, best yet, they have names! The robot, G-Bot, and squirrel, Miss Julia, are our faves!

It will be hard to choose just one, especially since each sweater is one of a kind, so we advise that you pick out a few (at the very least). At $44, how can you resist?

Norma W. also does a super great foldable bag (And it holds up to 25lbs, amazing!), also with an adorable little creature friend. We recommend getting a bag to be friends with your sweater!

Paper People's Babydoll Top

I just brought in a batch of these great new summer tops. They're made from the lightest bamboo blend jersey and they're perfect for those hot summer days we're all looking forward to. You really have to see them up close. The yoke is decorated with teenie tiny buttons and a delicate ruffle trim. I hand dyed the brown and burgundy ones and they have a delicate contrast edging to match the ruffle trim.

Fun and Funky Sian Likes to Mix it Up!

Here's a great outfit for those of you who like to mix it up like our own Sian (FBG staffer extraordinare!). A super pretty pastel floral print skirt contrasts with her tattoos, then top it off with a nice sweater and a great vintage-style necklace from Buttercup Days. A plain men's tank top and Sian's pretty pumps complete the look. Skirt and sweater from Fresh Baked Goods.

Necklaces! Lots and lots of necklaces!

Here's an assortment of long necklaces by Buttercup Days and Precious Pink Designs to show that a plain white tank can look amazing with a cute skirt and the right accessories. Throw on a little cardigan or shrug to get you through those spring days, and then dare to go more bare when the weather warms up for summer. (It really is coming! It is!)

Dots and stripes.... why not?

The crazy scarf from Fresh Baked Goods picks up some of the colors in the dots, and a coat from Momiji finishes off the outfit in style.

Just look how stylish!

This top by Mandala is tied in to the mix of prints below with the felted pin by Keri Rounding on the neck. Just enough, but not too much going on in this outfit!

Mix prints and fabrics with confidence!

When the tones are similar, you can mix and match with ease. We've got a belt from Embody, a skirt from Fresh Baked Goods, and a coat from Momiji in this outfit.

Amoeba Pins

I love these Amoeba Pins by artist Keri Rounding. She's also make the felt "Tentacles Pins" which I just can't get enough of! We've got a great selection of her stuff in stock right now, and she's always busy making more on Tuesdays when she takes her turn running the shop.
