Round and Round

You'll want to spin yourself around in one of these
flirty skirts by Desserts 'n Skirts!

We have retro pink flowers or black and white polka dots
for the girly girl or a "tougher" plaid print or grey and black
multi stripe (probably my favorite even though I am a girly girl!!)
for the "not-as-girly" girl.

Is that an Inukshuk?

No.... but it sure reminds me of one.

Turquoise is such a beautiful stone and paired up with these
ebony wood petals it makes for a beautiful earthy necklace.
It also has the lovely softness of the pale Amazonite.

This necklace is from Precious Pink Designs designer Nicole Boudreau.

Whirl Girl Skirts & Scarves 20-40% OFF

Come check out Whirl Girl's versatile warm wrap around skirts at great discounted prices!

Whirl Girl skirts are not only a great companion in the winter time, but are a great way to layer for the cool cozy evenings of spring and summer. Spend time up at a cottage? What a great layer to toss on after a refreshing plunge in the lake - the bamboo fleece material dries super quickly and keeps you warm even when wet. Short fleece skirts pack up small and won't wrinkle, which makes them great to toss on over bike shorts after a long ride along the waterfront. No need to stop for coffee in nothing but your sweaty spandex - wrap on a whirl skirt and keep your muscles warm for the ride home. Double sided fleece skirts are perfect for late night star gazing in your favorite patio chair.

A skirt that works with all four seasons of your wardrobe - with these great prices why wait?

Paper People's Low V Layering Top

This is another great spring time layering piece. Wear it over your favourite tank tops and dresses for an added layer of warmth or to add a little spice to a simple outfit. The neckline is outlined with a delicate ruffle trim. It comes in sage with fuchsia trim (shown), brown with turquoise trim, brown with purple trim and burgundy with green trim.

Paper People's Romantic Tie Dress

This dress is really one of my favourite pieces. It's romantic and feminine - I just couldn't resist sprinkling a few rose petals! This one is made from bamboo/organic cotton and soy jersey. I hand dyed them in burgundy, purple (shown) and green. You can see all sorts of colour depths and variation in them, each one is unique! The tie/belt is the best part, you really have to see it up close. I took a strip of jersey, a strip of recycled silk and a delicate cotton trim to make it. At the moment I only have black, but the coloured versions will be appearing as soon as Feb 26th.

Paper People's Ribbon Tie sweater

This is one of my favourite sweater styles. It's ultra feminine and perfect for layering over dresses and tank tops that you still want to show off while keeping warm. I used the lightest weight sweaters I could find so you can keep wearing them throughout the spring.

Paper People's Babydoll Top

I just brought in a batch of these great new summer tops. They're made from the lightest bamboo blend jersey and they're perfect for those hot summer days we're all looking forward to. You really have to see them up close. The yoke is decorated with teenie tiny buttons and a delicate ruffle trim. I hand dyed the brown and burgundy ones and they have a delicate contrast edging to match the ruffle trim.

A dress can still mean business!

Unless you work in a super straight-laced place, you could totally look pretty and professional in a great cotton dress like this one by Fresh Baked Goods. Top it off with a lightweight cardigan in red or brown and finish the look with some great retro styled pumps to match and you'll probably end up getting that promotion you've been hoping for 'cuz you look so darn professional and make everyone happy at the same time!

We have your cute tops for work!

Spring time is a time to brighten up and break out. But at the same time, pretty pinks, ravishing reds, and beautiful blues will go great with those oh-so-serious suits in grey and brown. Mix it up a bit, by picking up some cute tops and accessories, then get out there and kick some butt at work!

Another gorgeous Mandala top!

Here's a great top by Mandala Design to get you through your work day without sacrificing your style! A cute design (yet not cutesy!) flows down from the shoulder and it's finished off with one fabulous vintage button. These tops are great under a blazer or cardigan for work, and they make you look professional and pretty at the same time!

Mandala Tops!

Some of our most popular items are Mandala's tops. These are great for work or play, offering a much dressier version of a comfy tee shirt, but with all the style of a great jersey knit top. Wear it with dress pants or a no-nonsense skirt to get through the work day, and pair it with a fun skirt like this one (also Mandala Design) for a more fun look.

Motorcycles with a lacy shrug!

The skirt is already a contrast in styles- motorcycles and flames in the girliest of styles! Top it off with a pretty lacy looking loose knit shrug, and wowsa! what an outfit! (Necklace from Sugar Rush, skirt and shrug from Fresh Baked Goods).

A shrug like this from Fresh Baked Goods could make the most ho-hum tank and jeans outfit totally first date great! A pin (Odd Bird) and a bracelet (Precious Pink) add just the right touches!

Pin a shrug (Fresh Baked Goods) closed with a cute brooch, like this one from Sugar Rush!
