Still some Seasonal Bargains Left!

Although we are in full Fall mode at the store, there's still some end-of-Summer deals to be found!

Cipolla has 15-25% off selected bags such as the Swallow & Critter Toile bags seen here.

Cipolla also has a Sale Bin full of smaller goodies such as these pencil cases (which also make great little makeup bags when travelling etc)

All tank tops by Utility Grade are 25% off & there are more deals (up to 50% off) in the Sale Bin too!

Precious Pink has selected beaded necklaces on sale such as this one above. The necklace works 2 ways: it can be worn long or wrapped around your neck a few times for layered effect.

Sing the Blues

I love playing with tones. Even though this outfit is all in blue I've matched up the different tones of blue. The dark blue sweater, by Fresh Baked Goods, brings out the flowers in the skirt, by Desserts 'n Skirts, and the light blue flower on the tee matches the background of the skirt almost perfectly. The tee by Mandala is also very fun and flirty all on its own!

I also love blue with brown (and pink with brown!) so I've added a golden brown shell lariat necklace by Precious Pink Designs and some fun fabric buttons in brown by Space Cat onto the sweater.

Dark and Lovely

There is such a great variety of styles at Fresh Collective with all the very different designers in our shop.

Here is a lovely dress by Momiji. The details are wonderful. Since the dress is see-through, it comes with a black slip, and the fact that the slip is longer than the dress is adorable as you can see the lace trim peek out at the bottom. Pair this with a Corset Belt by Embody and you already have a different look going.

Of course we top it off with jewelry. Two necklaces, one long necklace doubled up by Electric Lollipop and a second one shorter with a simple Crystal Quartz Stone drop by Precious Pink Designs.

Great tops from Fresh Baked Goods

Our "Mod Dress" by Fresh Baked Goods has been so popular right off the bat, that we decided to make a top version! With little mini-pockets in both printed cottons and printed corduroys, this top is perfect for under a jacket for work, or with a cozy sweater. Cap sleeves mean you can wear it year round, layered for fall and winter, but on it's own next spring.

Great tops for everyday wear

You are going to absolutely love the selection of tops by Embody. Made from vintage yardage and re-purposed sweaters, these tops are so wearable, soft and stretchy and oh-so comfortable. Each one is unique, and they really have a look all their own. Long and stretchy "torso tubes", cute hoods and scoop shaped pockets give each one it's own look, and the fabrics designer Tara White uses are something else. Great knit textures and colors remind me of the best of 70's fashion.

Perfect fall dresses

We have an awesome selection of perfect fall dresses from Fresh Baked Goods. We love this one, with a gathered bodice, cap sleeves and little pockets. We did it in several cords, both printed and solid, and mixed it up a bit by doing different shaped pockets on each. We pre-wash all our fabrics so you can wash and wear your dress with no worries. Our clothes are made to be worn and enjoyed for years! Come in and see the ever-changing selection of dresses in the shop! We only make a set of one in each size in each color or print, so you better come in soon before they're all gone. And if you don't find your exact fit, we can alter one to fit you perfectly!

Cute and Casual in Madala and Fresh Baked Goods

Here's a great skirt from Fresh Baked Goods (it's flannel to boot!) and a top from Mandala. Mandy Armstrong, the designer of Mandala, is a master at making cute tops you can wear with everything! Fancier than tee-shirts, yet just as comfy. Grab a few of her tops in different colors and you'll never find yourself wondering what to wear with a skirt again.

Lay on the layers!

Sticking to a color theme means you can get a way with mixing textures. Plum plaid and a wrap sweater with plummy tones look great together, and a few necklaces tie the look together!

Perfect work outfits from Mandala Design

Perfect fall outfits by Mandala Designs take you to work and anywhere else you want to go!

Mandala Fall 2008

Mandala's fall line is coming in day by day. Gorgeous printed jersey tops with cute details like a tie at the neck with a buckle, or grommets and a tie on the sleeve. Great little skirts to wear with tights and boots.... oh boy, I just love fall! And Mandala designer Mandy Armstrong is the master of great tops to wear with everything! She has two I'm in love with so far- a beautiful deep blue and a perfect plum. (Check them out below.)

New wrap tops by Paper People Clothing

You may know Paper People Clothing for the funky re-worked sweaters and shrugs. In fact, judging by the numbers we've sold, you probably own one! This line is so popular, and each sweater is one of a kind, so you can create a great collection! But now, designer Jennifer Fukushima is adding sophisticated wrap tops made from environmentally friendly fabrics like organic cotton, bamboo and hemp. The fabric is super soft and drapey, and there are several silkscreen prints to choose from.

Match your jewels to your tote!

Add some color to a plain outfit with a splash of turquoise in your tote and your necklace. A bit of accessorizing is easy to do, and can really make those jeans and tee shirts days much more fun! This necklace is by Precious PInk designs, and the tote by Cipolla.

Fabric Pins by Space Cat

If you're looking for a little treat, check out the fabric pins from Space Cat. Handmade by designer Virginia Liu, these fun little gems can dress up a tee shirt, blazer or anything in between. Try a cluster on your tote bag, or a few to finish off a little gift bag. Virginia also makes letter buttons that are super fun and popular. I wear LJ on my sweater (for Laura-Jean)!

Brooches by Odd Bird

Odd Bird Designs is famous for domino pendants, but lately our resident odd bird is making a cute and quirky assortment of pins, hairclips and pendants from vintage plastic jewellery pieces. That's part of the fun of shopping at Fresh Collective! Our designers get to stretch their creative wings and try new ideas, so you never know what you might find! Designers bring in new pieces almost daily, fresh off the sewing machine or jewellers bench, and many items are one-of-a-kind, so check in often!

Layer it up!

I can never decide on just one necklace, so I love the look of lots! Here we have two pendant style necklaces made by our newest designer, Margie Jewellery, and one (doubled around) hand-knotted necklace by Electric Lollipop.
